Bruce Ely is a Portland, Oregon based photographer specializing in sports photography.

WHAT I DO

Action photography is great, but my passion is to show the quiet storytelling moments of sports that requires a lot of patience and trust.

MY WORK

Is currently the team photographer for the Portland Trail Blazers and has been commissioned to create images for Nike, adidas, Sports Illustrated, ESPN The Magazine, MLB, Netflix, Newsweek among other publications and companies.

BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW …

Bruce photographed the Unabomber in college and his face ended up on the cover of Newsweek alongside the FBI and the Unabomber.
Bruce was an extra in the the move Twilight as the prom photographer at the end of the first movie.
Bruce appeared as a paint salesman in an ACE Hardware commercial that ran during the Super Bowl.
