The group makes stop at a Santo Domingo grocery store to purchace supplies for their trip to Haiti. The group cleaned the large grocery store out of all the bottled water they had on hand -- 600 gallons. The water was loaded under the bus. They intend to give the water to people helping in the relief efforts near the Hotel Montana.
With bottles of alcohol given to the doctors by the Jet-Blue crew for just the occasion, Dr. James Laws says a toast after receiving news that Walt Ratterman was pulled from the rubble alive. Moments later, the crew found out the facebook rumor was indeed false. The crew is getting conflicting reports about the well being of Ratterman. The group celebrated about news that Ratterman had been found alive, only to learn from this call that it was indeed a false rumor from a facebook message.
